We are currently seeking a Full-Time Donor Center Supervisor to join the LifeNet Health team in our Virginia Beach, VA location. Hours for this position are 6PM-6AM.
As a Donor Center Training Coordinator, you would supervises the daily operations of a 24/7 Call Center. Monitor and report service quality and assist with implementation of training programs. Conduct quality reviews to enhance performance management to provide a high level of service. Ensure the appropriate tools and equipment are available in order to achieve highest quality of service.
You would be expected to perform all tasks assigned to you, including but not limited to:
Supervises Donor Center staff according to strategic, operational and tactical goals established by the Director of the Donor Center.
Ensures collaborative working relationships with client Organ Procurement Organizations, contract tissue recovery agencies, LifeNet service area hospitals, and LifeNet Health staff.
Supervises the daily Donor Center processes to ensure all documentation and communication is completed as required.
Initiates and investigates the Donor Center response for complaints and error/accidents, including corrective and preventive actions.
Evaluates and coaches direct reports routinely and reports on Donor Center staff performance routinely.
Assists the Donor Center Training Coordinator to produce effective training programs for new Donor Center staff and competency testing/training for tenured staff.
Assists in the development and maintenance of effective operational Standard Operating Procedures for the Donor Center
Serve as Tissue Donor Screening Administrator on Call to maintain an effective donation process.
High School Diploma or GED
AATB Certified Tissue Bank Specialist
Minimum 2 years of Supervisory/Management experience (to include Sr. Donation Coordinator or Preceptor)
Minimum 3 years of related work experience in tissue banking, medical device, Organ Procurement or related field.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Life Sciences or related field preferred
4 years of Supervisory/Management experience preferred
5 years of related work experience in tissue banking, medical device, Organ Procurement or related field preferred.
Previous call center experience.
