Associate Director of Development

Pablove is looking for an Associate Director of Development to join our team of hard-working, mission-driven fundraisers. Pablove’s community is the core of our brand, and we are looking for an ambitious, creative key relationship builder who is eager to steward existing supporters and curate a new portfolio of inspired donors. The ideal candidate will connect our mission to a community of engaged constituents which will contribute to Pablove’s strategic growth plan, culture of philanthropy, and vision: helping kids with cancer live – a love-filled life today, and a cancer-free life tomorrow.
Reporting to the VP of Development, the Associate Director of Development will have the following responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Support our team ethos and collaborate closely with members of the development team and other Pablove staff
Oversee direct reports: Stewardship + Special Events Manager and Development Coordinator
Develop and execute a robust annual giving program to include individual donors, online fundraising campaigns, monthly giving, regional fundraising, and community partnerships
Develop a new portfolio of major gifts, engage key multi-year donors and prospects through relationship building to raise dollars for our Powered by Pablove and Pablove Shutterbugs programs
Develop, execute, and grow a successful strategic partner program that bundles a myriad of corporate sponsorship and cause marketing opportunities with a plan that engages multi-year support
Develop, recruit, and oversee regional fundraising Advisory Councils in cities that Pablove serves
Actively engage as a member of our sustainable fundraising team, the Heart of Pablove (Benevon), ensuring the overall success of our mission tours, stewardship opportunities, and our Pablove One Another ask event
Learn, study, and become informed and articulate on Pablove Shutterbugs and our Powered by Pablove research grants programs developing the tools necessary to represent the organization externally
Contribute to the development of the annual budget, ensure that revenue targets are exceeded, and expenses are managed appropriately
Promote a culture of collaboration and high performance that values continuous improvement and a commitment to excellence
Work closely with all Pablove staff, board, volunteers, donors and constituents to support a culture of philanthropy throughout the organization
Work as a team leader to implement the strategic plan for all fundraising activities
Secure regular meetings with board members, community members, potential partners, and individual donors who can act as door openers and provide referrals
4-5 years of fundraising and a proven track record of running a successful national annual giving program and raising major gift funds
