About the Job:
The Career Management Center (CMC) marketing communications manager will lead marketing communications initiatives across the Kellogg CMC. He/she will help establish and build relationships with current/prospective recruiters and raise awareness of Kellogg’s unique value proposition. He/she will also build and enhance the CMC’s relationship with current Kellogg students.
Please Note: Evening and weekend hours are occasionally necessary when workload or event coverage requires it.
Work closely with CMC leadership, Associate Dean and communications team to determine strategic marketing communications goals for the CMC
Develop year-round communication campaigns to key CMC audiences (recruiters, prospective recruiters, students)
Work closely with CMC on research and analytics of market data impacting strategic priorities
Partner with the communications team on CMC storytelling narrative including coordination across departments (i.e. admissions)
Lead creation of messaging, relevant engagement materials, presentations and audience toolkits
Oversee ongoing management and improvements on CMC web properties (including CMC-Employer and CMC-Student Websites)
Manage and develop annual Employment Report and corresponding communication campaign
Communication and Engagement:
Build and deepen relationship with Kellogg recruiter/ prospective recruiter audience through meaningful engagement, partnership and high-touch opportunities
Develop and maintain consistent, effective communications with Kellogg students through existing and new channels
Support the CMC team on speaking engagements (content and delivery)
Effectively communicate employment stories and successes to Kellogg faculty audience
Partner with communications team to provide compelling anecdotes and data that can be leveraged for earned media relations activities
Coordination, Measurement and Reporting:
Lead relevant reporting and measurement against strategic goals and performance indicators
Performs other duties as assigned.
A bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience from which comparable skills can be acquired.

Strong critical thinking skills and an ability to navigate complex issues with a focus on delivering solutions to achieve established objectives
Proven track record of written and verbal communications and presentations for leaders working in multi-stakeholder environments.
Strong organizational, project management and workflow coordination skills
Proven good judgment and an ability to work collaboratively with many groups on a wide range of topics to achieve established objectives.
Strong writing and editing skills as well as ability to modify messaging/tone for different channels and stakeholders
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
Self-starter who takes initiative and proposes new ideas and solutions
Working knowledge of the digital space, including content strategy
Exceptional fluency in MS Office suite (including Power Point), English-language grammar and Associated Press style rules
Preferred Qualifications: (Education and experience)
4-6 years of experience in an integrated marketing, communications or public relations role.

Familiarity with scaled nonprofit and higher education environments
