Nursing Project Coordinator RN – Maternal Child Health
In this role, you will provide project management analysis, recommendations, and decision support for a broad array of complex clinical nursing and patient care issues. You will provide subject matter expertise to teams chartered to address and develop recommendations for current/future operations and clinical processes/services. In addition, you will promote internal and external communication and will manage the project team, timelines, and budget.
At least three years of experience in management and/or project management/operational planning
Experience in post-partum, labor and delivery, NICU, and couplet care strongly preferred
A BSN or bachelor’s degree in a related field (such as management, organization development, health services administration); a master’s degree is preferred
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
A current California RN license
A specific subject matter expertise in health care operations, care delivery, and clinical processes
The demonstrated ability to conceive, plan, and manage team-based projects
Knowledge of health care industry strategic business issues, with an understanding of Kaiser Permanente, it’s operations, and social and legal environment
Knowledge of the Nurse Practice Act, TJC, and other local, state, and federal regulations
The ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment
