SHARE Foundation, a leading non-profit operational foundation in El Dorado, Arkansas, seeks a President & CEO. SHARE, whose mission is 'to identify, develop and foster programs and services that further the health and well-being of the people of our community and surrounding areas,' has been championing community care in South Arkansas since its founding in 1996. With 175 employees and an annual operating budget of $9 million, it is a leading multi-agency provider of health and wellness services to thousands of people each year.
SHARE Foundation serves children, adolescents, adults and seniors. It is comprised of seven agencies and programs, including: Life Touch Hospice, HealthWorks Fitness Center, Interfaith Clinic, Chaplaincy Services, PRIDE Youth Programs, a scholarship program, and a grant making program. The agencies and programs primarily serve people in Union County (with the exception of Life Touch Hospice, with admissions from several surrounding counties).
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the president will provide vision and strategic leadership for SHARE. S/he must have a passionate commitment to the mission of SHARE, its core values, and programs. The president must also possess strong intuitive and strategic foresight to be able to identify developing community needs and create responsive programming and services. S/he will build and nurture strong relationships with the Board of Directors and staff as well as build significant relationships with other leaders throughout the region. The president will have managerial expertise, financial knowledge and experience, and will oversee the financial stability of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a creative and entrepreneurial orientation with a strong track record as a leader, preferably with a mission-driven organization.
