Position: A strategic partner to the CEO and member of the Senior Executive Team, the CFO leads a team of four and is responsible for complex project budgets, reporting and compliance of requirements of federal, state, private foundation grants, and charitable gifts. Its current operating budget is nearing eight figures.

Requirements: The successful candidate will bring at least ten years nonprofit financial/business management experience; be a confident self-starter with strong leadership experience. S/he will thrive on improving systems, enjoy research, embrace multi-tasking, and bring proven experience in all aspects of accounting principles, practices, standards, and understanding of state and federal laws and regulations. Essential will be familiarity with employee benefits, supervisory experience, proficiency with Blackbaud/Financial Edge software and analytical spreadsheets, and strong oral and written communication skills. Undergraduate degree in accounting required; advanced studies helpful; CPA preferred.
