The American Society of Plastic Surgeons is seeking an Education Program Administrator-Resident Programs to join the Education division. The ideal candidate will provide essential cross-departmental program support for the successful planning and execution of educational program activites, with a primary focus on Resident programming. Increase overall operational efficiency of the Education Department and work to streamline processes where appropriate. Work with both domestic and internationally-based stakeholders to meet the educational needs of a global specialty. Support developments in online and live education activities to achieve society goals.
Assists in the annual development and deployment of the Resident Education Center (REC). Reviews all module development projects to meet established goals, budgets, and project timelines.
Leads the enrollment of new domestic Residents and International Resident Subscribers into the REC, provides required support to newly enrolled International Resident Subscribers and Program Directors to ensure maximum use of and satisfaction with the REC curriculum and functionality. This includes, but is not limited to, REC functionality training, loading of customized content, and day to day customer service.
Identifies opportunities for functionality changes within the REC that would enhance user experience and provides that feedback to REC staff leaders.
Supports the development of blended learning opportunities between the online education platform and the live programming created either by ASPS directly or as a result of society and/or vendor relationships. Works collaboratively with these stakeholders to produce quality content that meets or exceeds the goals established for each program.
Assists with the moderation of discussion forums and reviews.
Serves as a customer service contact for online learning inquiries and triages higher-level inquiries to appropriate staff.
Prepares and disseminates all required faculty materials for Resident-focused activities, such as but not limited to Oral and Written Board Prep, Senior Resident’s Day and Resident’s Conference, in a manner compliant with ACCME standards. These materials include, but are not limited to, faculty agreements, housing requirements, authorization to capture presentations, etc. Prepares related reports as needed for inter-departmental staff.
Coordinates processing of faculty travel reimbursements in accordance with the respective program faculty letters of agreement and eligible reimbursement levels for Resident-focused programs such as, but not limited to, Oral and Written Board Prep, Senior Resident’s Day, and Resident’s Conference.
Responsible for preparing attendee materials for Resident-focused educational programming, such as but not limited to, Oral and Written Board Prep, Senior Resident’s Day, and Resident’s Conference. Facilitates disclosure of the resolved faculty conflict of interests, corporate support and related relevant CME information to learners.
Assists the Educational Department in preparing the shipment for Annual Meeting and other Resident-focused programs.
Works with faculty to populate presentation management system in a timely manner. Acts as second level technical support to ensure a successful member experience.
Responsible for consistent updating of Resident-focused program related details into the Aptify data management system.
Actively participates in Departmental, Core and Expanded Team Meetings to provide operational expertise.
